What Is Post-Sync Verification?
Post-sync verification is the process of checking the actual source and target data after an integration finishes. Instead of relying only on execution status, it confirms whether the expected records and field values actually arrived correctly.
Integration success answers only one question
Most integration platforms are very good at telling you whether a process, recipe, flow, or job completed. That execution status is useful, but it does not always prove that the final destination contains the correct data.
A workflow can finish successfully while a record is missing, a field value changed unexpectedly, or duplicate data was created in the target system.
What post-sync verification checks
- Records that exist in the source but are missing from the target
- Field values that differ between source and target
- Duplicate records created in the target
- Unexpected mismatches between the two systems
- Whether a previously successful integration produced a clean result
Why independent verification matters
The integration engine and the verification layer answer different questions. The integration engine answers whether the workflow ran. Verification answers whether the resulting data is correct.
Keeping those responsibilities separate gives teams an independent way to validate the result instead of treating a green execution status as proof of data correctness.
How Verirow fits
Verirow runs after the integration, compares selected source and target records, and classifies the result as OK, Missing, Different, or Duplicate.
The integration platform remains the automation engine. Verirow adds the data-level verification layer after the sync.
Do not stop at integration success.
Compare the actual source and target data after the workflow finishes.
